Serve

Prayer Team

EWC recognizes the importance and moving power of prayer, as well as the gift God has given many to intercede on the behalf of those in need of prayer. Our Prayer Team is always ready to offer up prayers for those in need, and receive prayer requests regularly through our OneCallNow phone system. If you would like to join the Prayer Team, click here.

Welcome Team

The Welcome Team at EWC is responsible for greeting members and visitors as they arrive to the church on Sunday mornings. We like to greet our visitors with a warm welcome as a first step in getting to know them. If you are interested in serving on the Welcome Team, please see Mr. Justin Hubbard following morning worship. (Members only)

Ushers

Ushers at EWC are volunteers who assist in collecting tithes and offerings during the Sunday morning worship service. Serving as an usher may include publicly asking God's blessing on the offering during worship, and is typically performed by our male members. If you are interested in serving as an Usher, please see Mr. Justin Hubbard following morning worship. (Members only)

Vacation Bible School

VBS at Edmonton Worship Center is one of our most important outreach ministries for kids and adults each year. It typically takes 30-40 volunteers to make VBS happen. Volunteers are sought out during the Spring of each year in preparation for the summertime ministry. For more information about VBS, please visit the VBS page in the "Grow" section of our website. Opportunities to Serve

We encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to have a servant's heart. Scripture teaches us leadership through servanthood, and is exemplified through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. EWC offers a number of opportunities to serve within the church.

Romans 12:4-8 (ESV)

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching; the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.
