Worship at EWC
Worship Center provides opportunities for worship at 11:00 a.m. and
6:00 p.m. on Sundays. During worship, we participate in singing a mixed variety
of traditional hymns, southern gospel music, and contemporary praise music. The
choir, directed by Minister of Music Janey Miller, meets to prepare for worship
at 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each Sunday.
Worship also consists of the delivery
of God's Word. The central focus during Worship, the Bible is preached and taught
for evangelism of the unsaved and spiritual growth of the believer. God's Word
is presented in an easy-to-understand expository delivery, often focusing on
the New Testament church and its teachings as are still relevant in the 21st Century.
EWC also receives tithes and offerings during Sunday Morning Worship. We
believe scripture's teachings of giving back to God from what He has given us to
care for. We encourage each individual to pursue God's will in their life on
giving, as we believe it is a part of personal worship to God. Through direction of the Holy Spirit and the blessing of our Heavenly Father, tithes
and offerings are often used to fund the ministries of the church. EWC also tithes
as a church to our Baptist affiliates and missions.
Everyone is welcome to join us during worship at EWC. Regardless of what walk
of life you are in, what your church or religious background is, or how "dressy"
your attire, we welcome you with open arms to worship and learn with us.
"I come broken to be mended, I come wounded to be healed. I come
desperate to be rescued, I come empty to be filled. I come guilty to be pardoned
by the blood of Christ the Lamb. And, I'm welcomed with open arms, Praise God,
just as I am!" - "Just As I Am," by Travis Cottrell
